Community Shop

The Ockbrook and Borrowash Labour Party believes that the Ockbrook and Borrowash Parish Council should be more accessible to all residents.

To achieve this, it is our aim to campaign to move the Parish Council Office to Borrowash Village Centre at the earliest opportunity.

The new office would be open throughout the week to members of the public, to discuss issues with the Parish Clerk, Parish Councillors, Officers from Erewash Borough, and Derbyshire County Councils.

"The Community Shop" would also act as a "One Stop Shop" for residents to find out information on anything and everything happening in Ockbrook and Borrowash, from a school or church event to the latest bus timetables.
