getting things done.

Labour successfully lobbied for the installation of the pelican crossing in Borrowash.

Labour successfully campaigned for a weight limit in the Station Rd, Manor Rd, and Central Ave areas.

Labour has a proud record of campaigning to protect our Green Belt from developers who want to build on land around Ockbrook and Borrowash.

Labour has a proud record of campaigning to protect our Green Belt from gravel extractors to the south of Borrowash.

When in control of the Parish Council it was Labour who re-instated the Parish Remembrance Service that had been stopped by the Tories.

It was a Labour Parish Council in 1995 that introduced the Christmas Tree and lights to the Parish.

The Labour Parish Council 1995 -1999 ran quality activities for children, including football, cricket, drama. Sadly now the Tories have scrapped them.
